Terms of use
Last updated: 2026-10-24
Welcome to Farpocket (operated by CAP STUDIO, "we"). By buying or using an eSIM on this site you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not buy.
1. Scope
These terms apply to all orders you place on this site. You must be at least 18, or have your parent's or guardian's consent, to buy.
2. What we provide
We sell prepaid data eSIMs. The eSIMs are supplied by third-party eSIM providers. We handle sales, delivery and customer support. Network coverage, speed and quality are provided by local mobile operators and are outside our control.
This site does not provide voice calls or SMS unless the plan details clearly say a phone number is included.
3. What you must check before buying
- Your phone supports eSIM and is not carrier-locked.
- You have read the plan details, including how validity is counted, the activation deadline, the coverage area and any limits (for example hotspot, manual APN setup, or whether a phone number is included).
- The destination, plan, data amount and validity you chose are correct. They cannot be changed, cancelled or exchanged after payment.
- If your destination's law or carrier requires identity registration or verification, you will find out and complete it yourself before you travel. We cannot do it for you and cannot control local rules. If it is not completed, the service may not work or may be suspended; we are not responsible for that and it is not a ground for a refund. See the "Registration and verification reminder" on each plan page.
- The email address you enter at checkout is entirely correct and can receive mail (check your spam folder too). The eSIM is sent there and also shown on the confirmation page. You bear any delay or loss caused by a mistyped, unreachable or intercepted email address, and we do not promise to reissue or refund because of it. You should also save the QR code before leaving the confirmation page.
- The name, email and other details you give us are true and accurate.
4. Prices and payment
The price is the currency and amount shown at checkout and includes all fees we charge. Your card issuer or bank may charge its own fees or exchange-rate margins, which we do not control and will not reimburse.
Payment is processed by Stripe and we do not store your card details. Every eSIM is a one-time prepaid purchase with no auto-renewal and no further charges.
We may change prices and the plans we list at any time. This does not affect completed orders. If a price is clearly wrong, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.
5. Delivery
After payment succeeds we place the order with the supplier. The QR code normally appears on the confirmation page within a few minutes and is emailed to the address you provided at payment. The eSIM is treated as delivered once the QR code has been shown on the confirmation page or sent to the email you provided.
If you have not received it after 24 hours, check your spam folder and then contact us. If the supplier is out of stock or cannot deliver, we refund you in full.
6. Using the eSIM
- A QR code can usually be installed only once. Don't delete the eSIM after installing it; it may not be possible to install again or to reissue it.
- The eSIM works only in the areas listed for the plan and must be activated within the stated period, or it expires without a refund.
- The plan's total data and its validity are both hard limits, and whichever runs out first ends the plan. The service then stops. We do not offer top-ups at the moment; buy a new eSIM if you need more.
- You are responsible for setting up your phone (for example turning on data roaming and entering the APN as the plan details describe). Roaming charges on your regular SIM have nothing to do with us.
- You may not use the eSIM for unlawful purposes or in ways that break local law or the local operator's rules, and you may not resell it or use it for commercial distribution without our prior written consent.
- Some countries have special rules about eSIMs or identity registration. Please check the rules at your destination.
7. Limits of the service
The eSIM service is provided "as is". We don't guarantee coverage everywhere, or any particular speed, latency, uninterrupted service, or access to any particular website or service. Network conditions, phone models, local policy and the supplier's fair-use rules can all affect your experience. We don't guarantee that the eSIM works with your particular phone; you need to check this before buying.
The operator, network type and speed information in the plan details comes from the supplier, is for reference only, may change, and is not a guarantee.
8. Cancellation, suspension and fraud
If we reasonably suspect fraud, abuse or a breach of these terms, or a payment is reversed, we may refuse or cancel an order, suspend or end the related eSIM, and, as far as the law allows, give the information needed to payment providers and authorities. The supplier may also suspend service for breaching its fair-use rules.
If you have a question about a payment, please contact us first. Disputing a payment with your bank or card issuer (a chargeback) before contacting us may delay resolution; if a dispute is not valid, we will provide our order, delivery and email records as evidence.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss (including missed flights, lost business, lost profit or lost data) arising from using or being unable to use an eSIM. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the order.
We are not liable for events outside our reasonable control, including failures of network operators or suppliers, natural disasters, war, government measures, and network or power outages.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability or consumer right that cannot be excluded or limited by law, such as death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud.
10. Refunds
See the refund policy, which forms part of these terms.
11. Privacy
See the privacy policy for how we handle your data.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the parties submit to the Hong Kong courts, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have under the law where you live.
13. General
If any part of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Not exercising a right does not waive it. These terms, together with the refund policy and privacy policy, are the whole agreement between you and us. If the Chinese and English versions differ, the Chinese version prevails.
14. Changes
We may update these terms. The updated version takes effect when posted on this page. Completed orders are subject to the terms in force when you bought.
